A far cry from the commercial tourist developments, our comfortable apartment is situated on a small, friendly, predominantly residential complex.

Situated away from the resort centre, we are still within easy reach of Playa Blanca's wonderful restaurants, bars, amenities, and of course the beautiful sandy beaches, all of which are only a 20 minute* pleasant walk, or 2 minute car journey away.

Accommodation Details. Our apartment offers ideal accommodation for families and couples wishing to enjoy the year-round sunshine of Lanzarote. 

Our property benefits from a spacious, bright, comfortable lounge and dining area, with double doors onto our large balcony. There is seating for 6, a dining area, Satellite TV (not Sky, but has many English speaking channels), Video, DVD, CD, Radio, Cassette. There is also a selection of books, CDs, DVDs, videos and children's games.

The balcony is private, south-facing and overlooks the lovely garden below. There are distant views to the sea and the island of Fuerteventura. It is also equipped with patio furniture, a parasol, and a Barbeque.

There are 3 bedrooms: a very large double bedroom, a slightly smaller twin bedroom, and a much-smaller twin bedroom which is ideal for children but still suitable for adults. The larger two bedrooms have built in wardrobes, and back out onto rustic land with mountain views.

We also have a separate, modern, fully equipped kitchen (although once you've sampled one of Playa Blanca's many lovely restaurants you probably won't want to stay in and cook!). There is also a washing machine, ironing board along with all the other usual facilities.

The apartment is first-floor (with no-one above!) and has its own private stairway with a lockable gate at the bottom.

Our home enjoys the tranquility of being situated away from the resort centre; although it is still within easy walking distance. The resort's beaches and main bars/restaurants are a mere 20 minutes or so walk away. It is a pleasant walk with views to the sea and to Fuerteventura. It's also a fairly flat walk, with no hills and no busy roads. Alternatively, it takes about 2-3 minutes via car/taxi (taxis are cheap, around 2-3 euros).

There is a small family-run supermarket nearby on the next complex.

Far from being a commercialised tourist development lacking in personality, the complex is mainly residential. Therefore, rather than being of bland uniformity, the homes of our friends and neighbours are decorated and maintained individually by their respective owners giving a rustic flavour to its surroundings.

Notably this is not a commercial venture, this is our home that we rent out informally to help us towards costs.
